Use and classification of transformer stands

Transformer bench is used to carry and support the transformer equipment, its main role is to put the transformer stably in the designated position, and provide enough support to bear the weight and vibration of the transformer.

According to the different use scenarios and structural design, the transformer bench can be divided into the following categories:

Ground bench: Ground bench refers to the transformer placed directly on the ground of the building or facility, usually suitable for small transformers or temporary installation in special occasions. They are usually constructed of concrete or steel for high load-bearing capacity and stability.

Hanging bench: A hanging bench is a transformer mounted on a high beam or bracket by hoisting or hooking. It is usually suitable for high-altitude or restricted space places, which can effectively use space and improve site utilization. The suspension platform is usually hoisted by materials with strong endurance, such as steel cables and wire ropes, to ensure the safety and stability of the transformer.

Trench platform: The trench platform is the transformer placed in the underground pit, and covered by a cover plate or platform. This type of bench is usually suitable for situations where the transformer capacity is large and requires concealed installation. The trench platform can effectively reduce the noise and visual pollution of the transformer, and provide certain protection and ventilation functions.

In addition to the above common classification methods, according to the specific needs of the transformer and the operating environment, you can also choose other forms of bench, such as pole type bench, floating bench, etc. Different types of transformer stands need to take into account the weight, size, use environment and other factors when designing and installing the transformer to ensure the safe operation and long-term stability of the transformer.
