Classification of stainless steel flanges

Classification by structural form:

Butt welded flange: flange and pipe through butt welded connection, high connection strength, suitable for high pressure, high temperature conditions.

Bolted connection flange: flange fixed connection through bolts, common standards are ANSI, DIN, JIS, etc., suitable for general working conditions.

Forged flange: Flange is made by forging processing, with higher strength and durability, suitable for high strength requirements of the working conditions.

Classification by use:

Classification by connection standard:

DIN flanges: Flanges manufactured according to the German standard (DIN), common ones are DIN 2527, DIN 2573 and DIN 2633.

JIS flanges: Flanges manufactured in accordance with Japanese industrial standards (JIS), commonly JIS B2220 and JIS B2210.
